Exposition Extra Fantômes

Sensible 1.0 DEFRAME

Sensible 1.0 will be exhibited at La Gaîté Lyrique in Paris during the Extra Ghosts expo from 7 April until 31 July.

Sensible 1.0 is an interactive media-installation about the ability to sense a virtual layer, constructed out of digital matter, in a physical space. Only when an object or a person is positioned at the coordinates of the virtual layer, will it reveal itself in the manifestation of projected light.

Klassiek in de Loods: See Scriabin!

This Friday we’ll be performing at Amsterdam Roest during Klassiek in de Loods: See Scriabin! alongside the lovely Helena Basilova. She will be playing pieces by Russian composer Scriabin, who was known for being influenced by synesthesia, but since we’re not, we’ll be giving our own interpretation of his music on February 19th. See you!

Biennale Némo Paris

DEFRAME at Biennale Nemo 2015 ParisWe’re excited about exhibiting RE: at the Exhibition Prosopopoeiae: When Objects Come Alive, which is part of Biennale Némo in Paris next week!

We really like the main source of inspiration behind this exhibition being Philip K. Dick, “and in particular the Dickian feeling that “something is wrong”, that the world is not what it seems to be, but a stage set, a trompe-l’oeil skilfully devised to deceive the human species.”
